TITANIQUE IS FANTASTIQUE

Want to find out what really happened to Jack and Rose on that fateful night?

Titanique is a re-telling of the story of the Titanic through the eyes and songs of Celine Dion. With it’s tongue firmly planted in her French-Canadian cheek, the show is possibly the most camp and chaotic stage show you’ll ever see.

The one-of-a-kind musical comedy quickly became an Off-Broadway phenomenon, and after hearing the huge buzz coming out of New York we were eager to see the show when it opened at Sydney’s Grand Electric.

The story begins when Celine Dion hijacks a Titanic Museum tour and enchants the audience with her totally unhinged take; re-charting the course of both the ship and the film characters with her iconic song catalog and kooky diva personality.

Featuring powerhouse voices and show-stopping numbers (plus, current pop culture gags and an ocean of odes to the 90’s film), Titanique is a musical voyage bursting with nostalgia and heart.

And if you’re a fan of Celine’s or ever picked up on some of her zany theatrics you will get an extra kick out of this portrayal. I nearly fell off my chair laughing at the reference to her Who Let The Dogs Out / Everybody Dance Now improv mash up – a total deepcut from one of her behind the scenes documentaries that is burnt into my brain.

Elsewhere the show sails on fierce powerhouse voices in show-stopping renditions of hits such as My Heart Will Go On, Because You Loved Me, All By Myself and To Love You More – backed by the rock star energy of a full live band – Titanique is a one-of-a-kind theatrical voyage bursting with nostalgia, heart, and campy chaos.

Run and see this show immediately! A bona fide splash hit, which turns one of the greatest love stories of all time into a hysterical musical fantasia. Titanique is an absolute riot and possibly the most camp thing you’ll ever see. For tickets and further details, visit titaniquemusical.com.au
