Heartstopper
Heartstopper is a British coming-of-age romantic comedy, adapted from the webcomic and graphic novel of the same name by Alice Oseman. Written by Oseman herself, the series primarily tells the story of Charlie Spring (Joe Locke), a gay schoolboy who falls in love with classmate Nick Nelson (Kit Connor), whom he sits next to in his new form class. This series does such a great job of making you feel those first-love butterflies all over again.
Dead End: Paranormal Park
Dead End: Paranormal Park is an animated fantasy horror comedy series created by Hamish Steele, which is based on the graphic novels series DeadEndia by Steele and Cartoon Hangover’s Too Cool! Cartoons web short Dead End. The series follows Barney and Norma, the newest employees at a haunted house theme-park which is actually haunted. The pair is joined by Barney’s dog, Pugsley, and Courtney, a thousand-year-old demon. Together they face zombies, game show hosts, witches, and crushes.
AJ And The Queen
AJ And The Queen is an American comedy television series created by RuPaul and Michael Patrick King – the man behind ‘Sex & The City’, ‘The Comeback’ and ‘2 Broke Girls’. RuPaul stars as Ruby Red, a larger-than-life but down-on-her-luck drag queen who travels across America from club to club in a rundown 1990’s van, in order to recoup the savings recently stolen from her by a former lover.
Uncoupled
Uncoupled is a romantic drama-comedy series starring Neil Patrick Harris who potrays Michael, a married Manhattanite who thought his life was perfect until his husband of 17 years blindsides him by walking out the door. Overnight, Michael must confront two nightmares – losing the one he thought was his soulmate and suddenly finding himself a single gay man in his mid-40s in New York City. Uncoupled is created and executive produced by Darren Star (Younger) and Jeffrey Richman (Modern Family).
Young Royals
Young Royals is a Swedish teen drama set at the fictional elite boarding school Hillerska. The plot revolves around the fictional Prince Wilhelm of Sweden (Edvin Ryding), his budding gay romance with a fellow student, Simon Eriksson (Omar Rudberg), and all the drama you can imagine that would come with that.
