You can’t go to Vegas without seeing a headliner, and we hit the jackpot by being in town just as this legend was wrapping up the final week of her residency.
Shania Twain opened “Let’s Go!” – her historic run of shows at Planet Hollywood back in 2019. The show halted due to the Covid outbreak, but was one of the lucky ones that reopened on the other side of the pandemic.
But now the time was right for her to bring the show to a close and she definitely went out on a high note.
As the theatre lights dimmed, the crowd went wild to her pre-show warm up – “Late Night Talking” by Harry Styles. Fresh off her surprise appearance with the heartthrob at Coachella, we knew we were in for a good show.
With more than 90 million albums sold worldwide, let it be known that Shania Twain is the top-selling female country artist of all time. “Let’s Go!” takes fans on a nostalgic journey with all the anthems from her career.
The show sets about recreating the best elements from her iconic videos, looks and stage shows. It was like being immersed inside her music videos. A mix of red carpet glamour and country hoe down. The show is a visual feast, with a large cast of buff male dancers, huge video screens and moving set pieces. This is a fun night out!

The show takes place at the Zappos Theatre in Planet Hollywood. This spectacular venue has played host to previous residences from Britney, Christina, Backstreet Boys and JLo – plus back when it was called the Aladdin was where Prince shot his live in concert film. If these walls could talk!
Shania makes the most of every inch of the stage, as she strutted around in her leopard print or brought up members of the audience to serenade. Her repertoire – “You’re Still the One,” “Man! I Feel Like a Woman” “From This Moment On” and “That Don’t Impress Me Much” are not just smash hits, but cultural anthems.

Witnessing the crowd was a show in itself. There was a distinctive gay following, cougars on the prowl, and country-luvin’ couples who were toasting their time in the big smoke. There were cowboy boots and denim as far as the eye could see, and a few Shania drag queens thrown in for good measure.
Next time you’re in Vegas be sure to check out who is playing during your stay. Planet Hollywood is part of the Caesars group, who operate many venues with A-list acts. For more info visit www.caesars.com/las-vegas/shows
